Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc is named No.1 in Europe’s Best 100 Hotels 2025

The continental list brings together 100 hotels across 20 countries and 79 destinations, with Passalacqua at No.2 and The Connaught at No.3.

Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes (No.1) is named Europe’s Best Hotel 2025.
The edition brings together 100 hotels across 20 countries and 79 destinations.
Southern Europe leads with 37 hotels, followed by the British Isles (17), Western Europe (17), Alpine Europe (12), Northern Europe (8), Central Europe (7), and the Balkans (2).

7 October 2025 – Europe’s Best 100 Hotels 2025 is revealed today, comparing the continent’s defining Riviera palaces, Alpine houses, country estates and contemporary urban landmarks in one ordered edition.

Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc takes the No.1 position. The Cap d’Antibes landmark combines an exceptional Mediterranean setting with a mature service culture and a sense of occasion that remains central to its international standing.

Passalacqua on Lake Como is ranked No.2, followed by The Connaught in London at No.3. Ballyfin Demesne in County Laois is No.4 and Hotel Castello di Reschio in Umbria completes the Top 5.

The edition spans 20 countries and 79 destinations. Southern Europe accounts for 37 positions, while the British Isles and Western Europe each contribute 17 hotels.
