Terms of use

These terms govern access to theworlds.best and the use of its editorial, directory, Verify and Best 100 material.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
01

The website operator

The website is operated by The Worlds Best Media Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 17351552, with its registered office at 2nd Floor College House, 17 King Edwards Road, Ruislip, London, United Kingdom, HA4 7AE.

By using the website, you agree to these terms. Separate written terms may apply to subscriptions, licences, advertising, partnerships and other paid services.

02

Editorial and travel information

The website is an editorial publication, not a booking agent and not professional, legal, financial, medical or safety advice. Places, services, prices, opening hours, access conditions and travel requirements can change. Readers should confirm material arrangements with the relevant provider and official authority.

Hotels, Restaurants and Cruises record a place or vessel; a GEM, Fork or Anchor distinction is a time-limited decision against a stated standard; Best 100 is an annual editorial ranking. No one form should be read as another, and no result guarantees a particular visitor’s experience.

03

Permitted use

You may read, link to and make limited personal use of the website. Unless the law permits it or written permission has been granted, content may not be copied, republished, scraped, systematically extracted, sold, trained on, used to create a competing database or used in commercial marketing.

  • Do not interfere with security, availability or another visitor’s use.
  • Do not misrepresent a hotel or restaurant record, Verify status, annual rank or commercial relationship.
  • Do not use the publication’s names, marks or artwork to imply approval or status that has not been granted.
  • Do not submit material that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, confidential without authority or harmful.
05

Responsibility and liability

The website is provided with reasonable care, but it may occasionally be unavailable or contain an error. To the extent permitted by law, no guarantee is given that access will be uninterrupted or that every item will remain current.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

06

Applicable law

These terms and non-contractual matters arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory right a consumer has to bring or defend proceedings in another part of the United Kingdom or in the country where that consumer lives.

If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of that right.
