Casa Marcial is a rural restaurant whose authority comes from living inside its subject. Nacho and Esther Manzano cook Asturias from the family's home in La Salgar, drawing on nearby growers, the Bay of Biscay and the route from mountain to coast. The resulting cuisine is contemporary without severing its domestic memory: broths, garden produce, fish, dairy and preserved flavours are refined with formidable technique while retaining a clear sense of origin. The restaurant has operated under the Manzano family's culinary leadership since 1993, with Sandra Manzano directing the room and a younger generation entering the business.
