How restaurant nominations work
Nominate from experience, in your own order of preference.
Nominate the restaurants that gave you the most compelling recent dining experiences. Consider the restaurant as a complete place: food, service, atmosphere, identity and consistency. The geographic scope for this nomination call is Asia.
What belongs in your nominations
- You must have dined at every restaurant you recommend within the previous 24 months.
- The experience must have taken place at the restaurant itself, not at a pop-up, residency or off-site event.
- Nominate the restaurant, not an individual chef, owner or restaurant group.
- Do not include a restaurant you own, work for, represent, advise or hold a financial interest in.
What happens to a public nomination
The submission becomes a research lead for the stated category and region. It does not become a calculated ranking value, a member ballot or a promise of coverage.
Academy applications are reviewed separately. Only an appointed member can access the official ballot, which records dates, funding and conflicts for every listed place.
