Villa Fontelunga reworks a traditional Tuscan house near Foiano della Chiana with a clear eye for contemporary colour, light and uncluttered rooms. At just nine bedrooms, it feels closer to staying in a carefully composed country home, while a swimming pool, garden, restaurant and bar keep meals and unhurried afternoons close; the small scale allows the landscape to remain the main event.
