The Roxbury turns a Catskills colonial house and adjoining low-rise motel into a collection of 28 exuberantly themed rooms, each willing to depart from country-inn convention. Designs move from vivid contemporary fantasies to playful historical references, while a restaurant and bar sit alongside the spa and available bicycles; Woodstock and the wider Hudson Valley are still within reach.
