The Maritime Hotel

The Maritime Hotel retains the nautical identity of its 1966 building, originally designed for the National Maritime Union near Manhattan’s Meatpacking District. All 125 rooms face west through oversized porthole windows towards the Hudson, with built-in furniture making efficient use of the interiors; a gym, restaurant and bar bring a sociable counterpoint to the ship-like geometry.
