More private residence than conventional hotel, Maison Métier brings an art-filled intimacy to central New Orleans. Studio Shamshiri designed the rooms and suites, balancing restored architectural detail with contemporary materials and a broad collection of art. Behind a concealed door, Salon Salon serves dinner, bar snacks and carefully mixed drinks, while three guest-only spaces extend the house’s French-rooted food and cocktail programme.
