Hotel Josef stands in Prague’s Josefov district, close to the old Jewish quarter, Old Town Square and the shops of Pařížská yet slightly withdrawn from their busiest flow. Glass and steel are deftly handled in Eva Jiřičná’s architecture, bringing abundant daylight to 109 rooms; later additions such as a garden-facing breakfast room and rooftop gym keep this early design hotel feeling current rather than preserved in time.
