Gregans Castle Hotel

Despite its name, Gregans Castle Hotel is a 250-year-old manor house rather than a fortress, overlooking Galway Bay and the limestone landscape of the Burren. Its 20 individually shaped rooms are joined by drawing rooms, lounges and a library, while gardens, a restaurant and bar preserve the easy pattern of country-house life at Corkscrew Hill outside Ballyvaughan.
