The Andilana Beach Resort is nestled within 150,000m² of stunning, private parkland. More than 500 coconut trees, 150 traveller's palms (the national symbol of Madagascar), Baobab, Pachypodium, Flamboyant, Mango trees, a multitude of vanilla orchids, lemon and cotton trees all combine to create a breathtaking explosion of colours and fragrances. You are sure to come across Carolina, the great turtle who is the undoubted queen of the Andilana Beach Resort and who has spent more than 150 years growing old gracefully in our beautiful gardens.


The enchanting lemurs are always ready to show off their physical prowess by leaping acrobatically from branch to branch. Nosy Be is also known as "the Island of Fragrances": let yourself be carried away by the sweet, intense perfume of the frangipani flowers. Accommodation

Our two beaches offer you the luxury of choosing how to enjoy your holiday: the rooms in blocks 100-200 benefit from being close to all of the hotel services and the swimming pool, whereas the rooms in blocks 300-400 ensure peace and tranquility. All located just a few metres from the Andilana shore, the rooms are split across four, two-storey buildings and all include a balcony or a spacious veranda, complete with small table and chairs.


Recently renovated, our 204 rooms come in three different categories – classic, family and suite – and offer you a choice of a king-size or queen-size bed.


Two shades of colour will welcome you as you make your way into the room – the carefully selected soft orange and yellow tones inviting you to relax mind and body like never before. The rooms in block 300 feature youthful green and beige colour schemes, and face eastwards, towards the relaxation beach.


From 2017 all in-room bathroom have been refurbished and feature a big walk-in shower and a bidet. Our rooms come complete with every imaginable comfort: satellite TV with multilanguage channels, air conditioning, telephone, mini-bar, kettle, hair dryer, safe box.

This multi-award winning New Zealand luxury hotel & retreat is set within a 75 acre estate atop its own private ridgeline offering spectacular views of the Bay of Islands.


Designed and furnished in an eclectic international contemporary style, where gardens and lodgings blend into the natural topography and foliage.

Four of the five world class villas offers its own private heated horizon edged lap pool, all offering private Jacuzzis, air conditioning, original artworks, Ecostore amenities and fully equipped gourmet kitchens.


Our team of talented resident personal chefs can spoil you for the evening. They will offer a specially designed menu of your choice featuring freshly caught fish, venison, lamb, crayfish (lobster) and more. Style and Character

Decked out in muted greys and whites, the beautifully minimalist villas blend indoor and outdoor living, with the huge windows inviting the blue bay inside. Totally secluded, each villa is surrounded by lush greenery and has a private hot tub, while all but the smallest has its own infinity pool. Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen and fireplace for the colder months, along with a home cinema and music system, both controlled by an in-villa iPad.


Service and Facilities

Eagles Nest does not offer conventional facilities, as there is no restaurant, bar or spa. However, you can request virtually any service you desire – whether it be a helicopter ride, personal trainer, chef or masseuse (a tattooist was recently sourced for one guest). A complimentary bottle of Louis Roederer champagne will be on ice for your arrival, and though the service is extremely discreet, manager William and his small team are devoted to enhancing guests’ experiences. Their lips remain sealed on their mega-star clientele.


Rooms

The smallest of the villas, First Light, is ideal for honeymooners, with one bedroom and separate his ’n’ hers bathrooms. The other villas have either three or four en-suite bedrooms, and the enormous beds feel like sleeping on a cloud. Refreshingly, none of the bedrooms have TVs; the view is the only distraction you need – although you can, of course, request one. Presidential suite Rahimoana has to be seen to be believed: it has a 25-metre pool, sliding glass walls, eight bathrooms, a private beach, gym, sauna, wine cellar and use of a Porsche Cayenne.


Food & Dinner

Self-catering is welcomed, and all villas have kitchens and a gas BBQ outside. Your fridge is stocked with complimentary breakfast items – including eggs, bacon, smoked salmon, yoghurt and juices – while there is a daily bowl of fresh fruit, cereals, breads, bespoke tea and a Nespresso machine. The fridge also contains wines, beers and bubbles which, surprisingly, are very reasonably priced. For a decadent treat, chefs from Russell’s acclaimed Duke of Marlborough restaurant can whip up an in-villa feast, with local specialities including crayfish and oysters.
